skeujin SG got i got stories from my frens whr their family member were involved in near fatal accidents n miraculously escaped unscatched to find their arrowana dead. or on death's door due to illness and well when their health turn for the better. the arowana begins to fall ill n dies...
skeujin SG my office last time also the same. i had black goldfishes tt we reared since young. n by coincidence we bot the same number of fishes as we had people in our dept. the weirdest thing was tt b4 anyone in our dept got laid off. we wld get n early warng sign by having tt same amount of goldfish dying.
elindra SG Ok. I had a near fatal accident before, but at that point of time I was not rearing any fish. Only my dad had a very bad predomination an hour before the accident happened about me and he said he was praying very hard for my safety. I might have died if I didnt stop sliding (would have died horribly though ) That would be head down a flight of stairs to broken glass and twisted metal below
Fatum SG I'm not sure about that .... I was cynical about such things before .... ghosts and the supernatural stuff didn't mean anything to me until NS .... there were other incidents and injuries too (including a fatality ... but i won't go into much details ... it wasn't one of those ill-treatment cases or a training accident ... that one i believe, fell under the X-files) .... and some gold fish conked out too .... oh well ... something to keep an open mind about ....
elindra SG I was on a double decker bus to KL. Btw that was the FIRST time I was going to KL by bus. Never again! I was flung out of my seat, 3 rows down to almost down the stairs. Btw someone did die. Was thrown out of the bus. Nasty accident involving 2 coaches, 2 lorries, 2 cars. Honestly I can't remember anything except picking myself up from the floor. (Btw my head was dangling off the edge of the stairs) I think that's how I got the slip disc in my neck. Had whiplash and lots of nasty bruises but other than that I was ok.
elindra SG Ok so I should keep black goldfish for luck I do have some pet orange goldfish in my pond though. Do they work the same?
skeujin SG ive seen buses and car tt took dives off teh cliffs along the NS highway and the hills of my during my rides up. always send a shiver up my spine. EEeeee get goosebumps jus recalling the incidents...
skeujin SG my office cleaning lady was sayg tt black ones are more auspicious thn gold ones. and black ones are more frail. bt ours really got huge. the auntie kept askg up to giv her a pair....
choco B SG Family always makes very late makan decisions leh... Now Ikoi tells me they have slot at 6pm but must clear off at 8pm . Don't think I'll take it up, hate eating with time limit
skeujin SG actually the time slot r pretty ok. they try to organise their guests in shifts. 6pm to 8pm. 8pm tiill late. i went once for the 6pm slot n surprisingly most of the guests actually leave by 8pm automatically so tt shd b able to buy some time for u. actually last time at gullimard village whr ka soh used to be had a nice jap restaurant i tink its still ther. but sori i cnt remeber the name of the joint. if yr ther for dinner can go chill out for after dinner drinks at villa bali....
Rhonda SG Waaah!! Interested! But can I check with my family to see if there's any last minute prep to do for bro's wedding dinner first? Eh... thought you had an appt with someone already tonight?
choco B SG I tried the 6-8 before... it was ... STRESS Had to get there on time, kept looking at the watch, got irritated when service was too slow (cos eat time mah)... overall not exactly very pleasant dining experience LOL I think the time slot arrangement is terrible. I just called Shima and they tell me their regular tables are fully booked as well on Sunday nights. What's with this Sunday?? LOL Only Teppanyaki available!
Rhonda SG I'm watching this UK Home Improvement show that's sooo funny! It's Debbie Travis' show. The designer assigned the guys to do upholstering... but they did such shoddy work that she gave them a Grade 'P', for 'Pathetic'! In the end, she passed the task over to their wives, who did a much better job, and she relegated the no-brainer task of painting furniture to the husbands!
skeujin SG jus found this on yahoo... http://data.forumhoster.com/forum_talkcock/index.php?s=e23541d4d49ced40981c669a94b9202e&showtopic=55 chk out the 2nd post by angeline. j bar.
Rhonda SG As the workman sands the patterned ceiling borders, plaster starts to crack and fall off! So, Debbie Travis decided to just paint over it and give it an aged crackled look so it looks charming and aged!
Rhonda SG Man, the 6-8 sounds awful! I'd much rather have a leisurely dining experience! I'm surprised that they're fully booked on Sunday nights cause I thought that most folks won't be out on Sunday nights cause they're too busy staying home bemourning the approach of Monday!
